Jewelry Care
Our pieces are both durable and long lasting. However, to preserve them for as long as possible, we recommend following these care instructions:
-
Please remove your jewelry before bathing, showering, exercising, or swimming. Your jewelry should not be worn in water or come into contact with any oils, lotions, or perfume.
-
If your jewelry does get wet, remove it immediately and let it dry away from direct sunlight.
Brass: Over time, brass may naturally darken or develop a patina. To clean brass, use a soft cloth with a small amount of brass polish or a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda. Gently rub, then rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
22ct gold-plated jewelry: To protect the gold plating, avoid rubbing or scrubbing aggressively. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove oils and dirt. Do not use chemical dips or polishing cloths designed for silver, as they can strip the plating. Store your gold-plated pieces separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratching.
Silver components: Silver will tarnish over time and while in storage, but regular cleaning will help keep its bright shine. We suggest purchasing a jewelry cleaning cloth that has been chemically treated to clean and polish silver. This can be used to keep the silver components...including chains, clasps, and silver disks...shining brightly.
Glass beads: These can be gently wiped clean using a soft cloth dampened with water only. Do not use any harsh soaps or cleaning agents.
